Juvederm Vollure XC – Soften Wrinkles and Folds
Juvederm Vollure XC is an FDA-approved injectable gel which is comprised of hyaluronic acid, a natural occurring substance found in the skin. This synthetic version of hyaluronic acid is combined with a local anesthetic which increases the comfort of filler injections. Juvederm Vollure XC contains a moisture-binding molecule that keeps the soft tissues of the face plump, hydrated and youthful while stimulating collagen production. It is most often used to smooth wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. What sets Juvederm Vollure XC apart from the other fillers in the Juvederm family is that it last twice as long as other formulations, targeting the wrinkles and folds in the mid-face area.
What does it do?
Juvederm Vollure XC temporarily restores volume and fills facial wrinkles and folds leading to a smoother appearance of the face. Most patients notice a reduction in wrinkles after only one treatment. Depending on your skin, the area treated, and the injection technique, the results may last up to 18 months.
Juvederm Vollure XC is a non-invasive in office procedure that can be completed in about 30 minutes. However, our goal is for you to leave the office with beautiful, natural results, without regard to how long it takes. Most patients experience limited downtime, if any- 2-3 days of occasional mild swelling and bruising which is easily concealed with makeup.
Results are immediate! You will look volumized, refreshed, and more youthful before you step out our doors. However, please remember, it’s best to receive filler injections at least 2 weeks prior to any important event.
